Pt 1
Hey, on demand, I'm gonna blog about my stint in Europe! Anyways for those who do not know, I've been sent by my company to Luxembourg for a 2 month training and so as of 8th March 2008, here I am! *sorry for my poor photography skills
7th March
Its flying day, so I'm not working! And yes, I've not finished packing. Thank God, Pao and Phoebe came all the way from Kuantan and helped me pack. They came all the way just to send me off! Anyways cutting the story short, we got the the airport and I boarded the plane and 13 hours later at 5.30am, I'm in Amsterdam!
8th March
Sibeh cold here, its ok indoors, but once outside, its so cold I can't feel my fingers! And the constant breeze does not help one bit =/ So yeah, I arrived in Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, and its HUGE!
Its a 9 hour wait before I transit to Luxembourg, so my company had reserved a hotel room for me to lepak and rest while I wait.. its a 3 star hotel la so wasnt expecting much. Waited for 15 minutes for the free hotel shuttle to arrive, and in the freezing temperature, thats the longest 15 minutes of my life!
Eventually the shuttle bus came, fortunately in there its nice and warm... 10 minutes drive later, reached Bastion Hoopdorf hotel. And its still within the airport premises! Thats why I said the airport's huge!
Washed up, went online awhile, (free wifi!) and had my free breakfast. To think that I'm gonna have this for breakfast for free, EVERY DAY for 2 months, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
The above was just my first serving.
Finished eating, checked out of the hotel, and headed to Amsterdam Central via train. Had only 2 hours left before I had go back to the airport, so jalan2 around la. Lazy to elaborate, so here are pictures.
Bikes!
More bikes! Hardly can see any cars around, I guess bikes are their main transportation..
